Kott-Don 360: Singapore’s Korean BBQ Revolution You Need to Try
If you’re tired of smoky Korean BBQ that leaves you smelling like a campfire, Kott-Don 360 is about to change everything you thought you knew about Korean barbecue. This isn’t your typical grill-it-yourself spot—it’s where 360 hours of patient meat aging meets the delicate art of hand-cut “flower” scoring, creating flavours so deep you’ll wonder why you ever settled for anything less. With their new PLQ Mall location now open, experiencing this modern take on Korean dining has never been easier.
Enjoyed this guide? Running this blog takes a lot of coffee (and time exploring every corner of Singapore!). No pressure though – I’m just happy you’re here and hope you have an amazing time in Singapore! ????
What Makes Kott-Don 360 Different?
Here’s what you need to know: Kott-Don 360 specialises in aged meat that’s been meticulously prepared using a flower-cut technique. Think of it like this—instead of grilling a solid piece of meat, each cut is hand-scored to create delicate openings that absorb marinades deeply and cook with exceptional tenderness.
The restaurant ages their pork and beef for 360 hours (yes, that’s 15 days) before the flower-cutting even begins. This time-consuming process isn’t common in Singapore because it requires serious skill and patience. But the result? Meat that’s incredibly tender without being mushy, with flavour that goes beyond surface-level seasoning.

The Experience: What to Expect
Unlike traditional Korean BBQ joints that rely on heavy charcoal smoke, Kott-Don 360 uses precise temperature control to let the meat’s natural flavours shine. You’ll notice the difference immediately—no overwhelming smoke, just pure taste.
The setting blends Korean warmth with unexpected Nyonya-inspired design elements: deep green tones, flower-patterned floors, and modern neon Korean signage alongside traditional black retractable exhausts. It’s Instagram-worthy without trying too hard.
Every meal includes unlimited Korean side dishes (banchan) and complimentary haagen dazs. The pricing remains surprisingly accessible despite the premium quality—the founders wanted superior meat available to everyone, not just special occasion diners.
Two Locations, Same Quality
Flower Pig 360 (the original): 165 Tanjong Pagar Road—fully booked daily since opening two years ago. This tells you everything about consistency. Opening hours: 11.30am to 5am, Mondays to Sundays
Kott-Don 360 (new): PLQ Mall, Level 4—easier access, same meticulous preparation, perfect if you’re exploring the Paya Lebar area. Opening Hours: 11.30am to 11pm, Mondays to Sundays
What to Order
While pork is their signature, don’t skip the beef. First-timers are consistently surprised by how aged, flower-cut beef transforms the entire Korean BBQ experience. The flower-cut method works magic on both proteins.
Ask your server about their marination styles—they’ve spent months developing flavour profiles that mirror authentic Korean Hanwoo beef and Jeju Black Pork (since Singapore can’t import Korean meat directly).

Worth Knowing Before You Go
Reservations are essential, especially for the Tanjong Pagar location which books out weeks ahead. The PLQ Mall outlet is newer and slightly easier to secure, but don’t count on walk-ins during dinner service.
The restaurant’s success stems from founders Frank Jin and Chef Jeon Woohyun’s international experience running restaurants across India, Cambodia, Korea, and the UK. They chose Singapore specifically for its “authentic market” and efficient business climate—their goal is proving Korean BBQ can evolve whilst staying true to its roots.
Ready to Experience Korean BBQ Done Right?
Kott-Don 360 proves that innovation and tradition can coexist beautifully. Whether you’re a Korean food enthusiast or simply tired of mediocre barbecue, this is worth experiencing firsthand. Book ahead, arrive hungry, and prepare to reconsider everything you thought Korean BBQ could be.
