Info Box
E-sim– If you want to know the most affordable way to be connected when travelling, it is with an e-sim. I have to admit I have come late to the party on this one, and I wish I had known earlier as it would have saved me hundreds of dollars in the past. I have been using Airalo for the past few months, and it has been so easy to set up and use while I am away.
Airline Tickets– CheapOair is a leading provider of airline tickets, hotel rooms, rental cars and vacation packages with top travel brands to choose from globally. The CheapOair brand provides diversified travel services, but I highly recommend checking out their airline ticket options for the best prices.
Visa—If you are looking for an easy way to get a visa or aren’t sure if you really need one in the first place, Ivisa makes the process easy. With a click of a button and a few simple steps, you will be able to sort out your visa requirements in a flash!
Insurance -We all know how important travel insurance is when you are abroad, but we also know how expensive it can be as well, right? Well, I am here to help solve both those problems. Safetywings is both affordable and reliable and better still easy to purchase. There are no hidden agendas, just choose the dates you will be away and check the coverage you need. It is that simple.
Things To Do In Singapore At Night
1-Watch the Light Show At The Supertrees Grove
Gardens by the Day is beautiful with its flora and fauna; however, the trees light up at night, and a garden Rhapsody comes to life. This free entertainment has two time slots: the first show starts at 7.45 pm and 8.45 pm (Daily).
2-Watch Singapore Skyline Come to Life from the Singapore Flyer
As the city transforms into a glittering metropolis, the view from the top of the Singapore Flyer offers a mesmerizing panorama of the city’s illuminated skyscrapers, iconic landmarks, and bustling waterfront. Make it a little unique and dine from above at 165 Sky Dining.
3-Ride The Luge At Night
There are many things to do in Sentosa, including riding the luge at night. Night Luge at Skyline Luge Sentosa is set up with colourful lights, so you will always have your way, but it does make it that more exciting. The luge is open until 7:30 pm Thursday through Monday.
4- Spend The Evening at Singapore Night Safari
We have all been to the zoo, but how many night zoos have you been able to visit? Singapore is my one and only, so it must get a mention. The best part about the night safari is that the animals come to life at night, whether the nocturnal animals you don’t see during the day or the lions that only roar at night. This place is something special.
5- Take In the View at Mr Stork
This is why this bar has been nominated numerous times as the best bar in Singapore. From the view to the service to the drink menu, it is all a five-star experience. Go early and watch the sunset (oh, and you can’t book, so getting in early gets you an excellent table). I highly recommend 665°F restaurant; this also has a fantastic view! Although this steakhouse has a reputation as a superb place to order a steak, the lobster, in my opinion, was even better.
6-Head Down the River on The Laser Show Cruise
Most people will opt for a ride down the river during the day, but you can now jump on a bumboat and enjoy the Marina Bay Laser Show. Check the weather before you go because tickets can not be reimbursed, so you must commit even if it rains. Make it a little and a night tour that includes the river cruise.
7-Take A Ride On a Singapore Party Bus
Yes, you heard right. Enjoy getting from one venue to the next on a party bus. The party bus might not be the most cost-effective way to get from one place to another, but it is fun! Choose your music, sing along (sometimes you may find a mask or wig to dress up in), and be entertained.
8-Order a Cocktail At Bar Stories
Haji Lane is fun during the day, but at night it becomes a hot spot with bars and music. So head over to the bar stories for a different kind of cocktail. Instead of ordering your cocktail, answer the required questions and allow them to choose a cocktail that fits your preferences.
9-Try Your Luck at One of The Casino’s
Singapore has two major Casinos, one at Marina Bay Sands and the other on Sentosa Island. Either way, remember to bring your passport, ensure you are over 18, and dress appropriately in smart casual attire. There is plenty to do and see at both casinos to satisfy you.
10-Do A Spot of Night Shopping On Orchard Rd
Orchard Rd is open until late every night of the week, but around Christmas, you will find loads of decorative lights on display (so be prepared for big crowds). All shopping centres around Singapore are open until late, not just Orchard Rd.
11- Enjoy Your Favourite Rides After Hours at Universal Studios
Universal Studios is open until 7 p.m. each night except Saturday when you can stay until 9 p.m. to watch the fireworks. Better still, visit during special times of the year, such as Halloween, and explore the park at night with its unique (extra scary) rides and entertainment.
12 – Join a Singapore Night City Tour
Spend the evening gliding through the busy city on top of a double-decker bus tour. Enjoy the commentary on Singapore and its history via headphones while escaping the humidity below.
13 – Sip On A Cocktail With an Amazing View.
Where rooftop bars are concerned, The Lantern Bar is one of my favourites. It has a great view, a chilled atmosphere, and a fantastic photo opportunity.
Everything I love about Singapore is here: there is a restaurant downstairs that is also worth a mention, as well as a highly rated hotel (I can vouch for it, as I spent a fantastic weekend here)
14- Enjoy A Singapore Chilli Crab at Dempsy Hill
Although you will find many places to eat Singapore chilli crab, and in fact, you will find a few Jumbo Seafood outlets, I highly recommend Dempsy Hill. This restaurant location is one of our favourites any time of the week (it is always busy, so make sure you book in advance). Oh, and if you love seafood as much as I do, pepper crab and cereal prawn are also at the top of my list on the menu.
15- Indulge Yourself In One of Asia’s Best Restaurants
Burnt Ends has been named many times in Asia’s top 50 restaurants (usually in the top 10, to be precise), so why not splurge a little and see what the fuss is all about? Burnt Ends is a fantastic restaurant with an even more excellent reputation, and when you indulge yourself with the chef’s choice, you will understand first-hand what the hype is all about.
16- View The Jewel’s Rain Vortex Light show
The Jewel Rain Vortex Light Show starts at 7:30 pm each night and continues hourly until 11.30 pm. The Vortex is spectacular during the day, but the waterfall comes to life in beautiful colours at night. Shops are also open until late, so you could spend an entire evening dining, shopping, playing in the maze and viewing the waterfall.
17- Take a Walk Along Henderson Waves Bridge
The Henderson Waves Bridge is 274 meters long and is designed with shell-like seating areas where you can take in the night sky view. The bridge is excellent during the day; however, it is lit up at night by lights, making it even more special.
18- Sit With the Locals And Enjoy Some Hawker Food
Singapore has many hawker centres, but you must remember a few things. Always bring a packet of tissues (anything really, but this is the article of choice here in Singapore) to place on the table where you will sit. The hawker centres can be bustling, so finding a seat is a priority as soon as you arrive. Wander around and choose a vendor, order your food, and enjoy the experience.
19- Step Inside and Order From The Most Extensive Gin Collection In the World
Yes, you heard me. The Altas bar has the world’s most extensive gin collection. Step back in time and drink at this art-deco Great Gatsby-style bar. The wait is long if you have yet to book in advance, but it is worth it.
20- Dance The Night Away At One of Singapore’s Popular Nightclubs
Marquee Nightclub is at the Marina Bay Sands, one of Singapore’s popular nightspots. Remember to dress appropriately, be patient (the line can be extensive) and bring your dancing shoes.
