Deepavali, also known as Diwali, is a significant Hindu festival that signifies the beginning of the new year, with dates determined by the lunar calendar. Homes are adorned with lights and oil lamps, creating a festive atmosphere that resonates with joy and renewal. Bhoomi’s elegant decor, featuring illuminated rattan baskets, sets the perfect backdrop for this celebratory occasion.

This year’s Deepavali holds particular significance for the festival and is a milestone for Bhoomi and Chef Milind’s return to Singapore. To honour these celebrations, the chef has meticulously selected a variety of spices and ingredients emblematic of the festivities, presenting a menu that invites diners to indulge in a selection of his top ten Deepavali dishes:

Starters

  1. Til Wala Jhinga – S$34
    Jumbo prawns coated with chilli flakes and sesame.
  2. Murg Gilafi Kebab – S$26
    Minced chicken seekh kebab enveloped in a bell pepper crust.
  3. Tandoori Aloo Ki Nazakat – S$22
    Tandoor-grilled potatoes filled with edamame, cottage cheese, and dried fruits.
  4. Kandhari Paneer Tikka – S$24
    Cottage cheese marinated in pink beetroot juice and cashew paste.

Mains

  1. Achari Tangdi Masala – S$28
    Tandoor-grilled chicken drumsticks served in a pickled gravy.
  2. Subz Miloni – S$22
    A medley of spiced vegetables topped with crispy spinach.
  3. Kesariya Badami Kofta – S$24
    Almond cheese-stuffed koftas in a saffron-infused curry.
  4. Kaju Makhana Pulao – S$14

Indian-Inspired Chocolates by Bhoomi and Anjali Chocolates

In addition to the festive dishes, Bhoomi is thrilled to announce a collaboration with Anjali Chocolates, introducing a limited-edition range of Indian-inspired chocolates. This exquisite collection features nine unique flavours, such as Sesame Praline, Saffron Kheer Cups, and Chai Spice Truffles, beautifully packaged in rangoli-patterned boxes. These delightful treats are available in three sizes, priced between S$42 and S$110+, making them perfect gifts or indulgences during the Deepavali season. Orders can be placed through the website.

Bhoomi’s Set Lunch Offerings

Beyond the Deepavali festivities, Bhoomi is excited to unveil a special two-course set lunch menu, available from Tuesday to Thursday between 12 pm and 2 pm for just S$29.90++. Guests can enjoy a starter and main course, with an optional dessert for an additional S$5. Bhoomi also welcomes corporate functions and private dining bookings.
